This is a 1981 Pontiac Firebird Formula !! with the rare computer controlled V6 Engine !I All matching numbers. and very low milage at only 16, 000 miles from new. This is a fully optioned Firebird with T Tops and the rare 3.8L 231ci V6 Buick engine, which was only put in these cars for a very short period of time, making it very rare. The engine was designed to be more fuel economical while still providing enough power to be a muscle car and even sounds like a V8. This car has a beautiful metallic grey exterior and red interior. It is a four seater, two door coupe.The car was owned by a private collector in Florida for many years until I bought it and imported it to Australia. It was recently fully restored by style rod panels in 2011, this included new bare metal paint job (no filler was used), new decals, removal of dents, brakes redone, engine tuning and interior being refreshed, chrome redone. So all in all it is driving fantastically and needs nothing done to it. The car has been to many motor shows in Melbourne in which it featured in a TV show Gasoline. The factory Fisher body T Tops in mint condition on the car. All the weather seals were redone, so no leaks. New tyres have been fitted on the original rare Firebird wheels, I haven' t seen these on any other firebird to date. The transmission is a smooth 3 speed automatic that has no problems being a daily driver or being driven hard.
