Clermont Elecrical Services were the original owners of this classic old workhorse. This is an original unmolested example of an early split window Kombi. Provenience and originality are what establishes a point of difference in collectible cars, this vehicle has these ingredients in spades. The vehicle has an upgraded fresh 1600 motor, which starts immediately and runs smoothly. Electric fuel pump fitted recently to assists starting when not driven for a week. Brakes have been thoroughly checked with new shoes, wheel cylinders replaced and drums shimmed or replaced. Seats are not standard and steering wheel is also not standard .Steering wheel would have to be replaced due to its home made construction. This vehicle has no seat belts and i am selling unregistered. It has been driven around the Byron hinterland for 2 years This Kombi has a narrowed and lowered front suspension which is very typical of most older split screens.. This has been modified professionally but please bear in mind., registering rules vary state to state.. This vehicle has a late model 4 speaker stereo system to enhance the awesome driving experience. I have purposely left this Kombi in its original reluctant to remove the evidence of its irreplaceable heritage.
